This is my grandmother's own recipe of Rasam podi. I guarantee, you are sure to love the taste of rasam made with this powder!
Ingredients:
5 cup dhaniya (coriander seeds)
2 cups dried chillies red
3 tbsp channa dal
3 tbsp toor dal
2 tbsp pepper corns
4 tbsp jeera
turmeric 1/4 tsp
Saute all the above ingredients till the aroma starts to unlock and the colour just changes. Grind to a coarse powder. (Rasam podi is coarse while sambhar podi is very fine). Store in airtight container.
