This is my mom's new recipe. It turned out really well and dad loved it
1/4 cup moong dal
1/4 cup channa dal
1/4 whole moong (green) dal
1/4 cup (overnight soaked) rajma
1/4 cup (overnight soaked) channa
2 onions-chopped finely
4 tomatoes-chopped finely
Methi leaves-fried, a handful for garnish
Milk-1 cup
curds-1/2 cup
Big Elachi - 1
1 tsp jeera seeds
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp dhaniya powder
2 tsp Garam masala
Salt to taste
Oil-4 tsp
Cooking Directions:
Pressure cook all the dals together.Let the pressure release naturally and mash well.Keep aside

Once the aroma unlocks, Add onions and saute till transparent.
Add tomatoes and saute till soft.
Add curds and continue to saute.
Add salt, dhaniya powder, chilli powder and garam masala, continue to saute.
Add the mashed cooked dal.
Finally top it of with milk and simmer till done.Add the mashed cooked dal.
Garnish with fried methi leaves
Serve with rotis.

Hi Again! I have tried mixed dal but must admit never with Rajma. Interesting concept and good way to eat the legumes. My kids are not going to enjoy seeing me write this.
